Started in 1992, Santhigiri is one of the pioneers of CBR programs in Kerala. Our CBR interventions are multifaceted. It includes disability detection medical camps, early foster care programs, supply of appliances, home-based therapeutic assistance, surgical corrections, self-help programs, formation of Self-help Groups, awareness generation programs, kitchen garden promotion etc. We have completed the construction of 250 houses, supplied more than 100 income generation programs, extended activities in 20 panchayaths, formed 60 self-help groups and conducted several medical camps, State, National level seminars and the like.
